The maximum wagering amount allowed is $2,500 (US) per transaction. The maximum show wager amount is $5,000 (US). The wagering amounts are also dependent on the host racetrack and Sol Mutuel rules. All wagers are commingled with wagering pools at the host racetrack and will be subject to host racetrack restrictions. In the case of multiple wagers such as a daily double or an exacta box, the base wager is multiplied by the number of combinations to determine the amount of the total wager. Wagers will only be accepted that do not exceed the current balance of players' respective wagering account. All approved wagers will be withdrawn from the account holder's wagering account prior to submission of the wager. Winning wagers will be credited to the account holder's Sol Mutuel account upon posting of official results by the respective host racetrack.
Sol Mutuel reserves the right to refuse any wagering transaction for any reason. Any and all wagers placed from non-wagering jurisdictions will not be accepted.
Once a wager is submitted, confirmed and accepted, refunds and/or cancellations are NOT permitted. Once confirmed by the Sol Mutuel wagering system, ALL WAGERS ARE FINAL. If for some reason we are unable to commingle your wager with the host racetrack wagering pool, your wager will be refunded to your account.
Requested wagers that are unsuccessful, ineffective or non-permissible for any reason (including any and all track errors, tote malfunction, communications failures, etc.) will be canceled and the full wagered amount will be refunded to your account.

Sol Mutuel Responsible Gambling Policy: Sol Mutuel is committed to endorsing responsible wagering. Please wager sensibly. For many people, betting on the horses is exciting and entertaining. They make thoughtful decisions about spending time and money.
Here are some tips to follow in order to wager responsibly:
Balance playing the horses with other leisure activities.
Play the horses for entertainment, not as a way to make money.
Do not "chase" losses. Accept them as the cost of entertainment.
Use extra income to wager, not money needed for everyday expenses.
Set a time limit.
Responsible wagering is what most people practice on a daily basis. For some, however, wagering or gambling becomes a serious problem that they are unable to control. This can lead to a state of compulsive or pathological gambling. Pathological gamblers cannot resist the temptation to gamble; they cannot stop regardless of their jobs, families or anything else.
How can you tell if you or someone you know has a gambling problem?
- Have you often gambled longer than you had planned?
- Have you often gambled until your last dollar was gone?
- Have thoughts of gambling caused you to lose sleep?
- Have you used your income or savings to gamble while letting bills go unpaid?
- Have you made repeated, unsuccessful attempts to stop gambling?
- Have you broken the law or considered breaking the law to finance your gambling?
- Have you borrowed money to finance your gambling?
- Have you felt depresses or suicidal because of your gambling losses?
- Have you been remorseful after gambling?
- Have you gambled to get money to meet your financial obligations?
If you or someone you know answered yes to any of these questions and needs help for a gambling problem, call today.
